Annual Show

Shelby's Annual show takes place at the end of the year (October/November) at the Concordia Theatre. All students can join us at this wonderful event that gives them one of the most important lessons they can learn...Performance. Technique is taught in the studios, Performance can only be learnt with experience.

Twice a year, all students are invited to join in with the Street Dance Competitions. Students dance in groups (not individual) and the aim is to get through as far as you can in the heats whilst having fun! A great day is had by all.

Shelby Academy have trained pupils to successfully gain places at prestigious full time training courses throughout the UK to further their careers in Performing Arts, these include:

London Studio Centre, Laine Theatre Arts, Bird College, SLP, Leicester College Of Performing Arts, Addict, Studio 79, Mountview Academy Of Performing Art and the London School Of Musical Theatre.

Competitions

Festival students can take part in 2/3 local competitions per year. This gives students the chance to enhance their ability and improve their self confidence. Shelby students have gained many medals and trophies over the years.
